Myspace Layouts

So many of you know that my hobby is PSP. When I get in the mood I am a creative crazy woman with PSP. I changed both of my profile layouts for the week honoring Rick's upcoming 44th Birthday and New Years... So take a look. I know there are some touches of Christmas I will clean it up more its just a start while I was on break from Christmas dishes. Not quite ready to let go of Christmas Magic.

I make things for a Military Tag site too.

So I was going to use this graphic for a layout. (I did make an Army one can't find it though...)

I love you baby!

About Me

About Me

Hello I am Bella. I am a 28 year old Mom. I am a PROUD Army Wife. We've only been married a short time but we feel like we have been soul mates since before we were born. His name is Rick. We each have two kids from our previous Marriages. Alex (21) A Soldier himself, James (20), Mackenzie (7), and Skylar (5). We live in Huntsville. As much as Georgia has a piece of my heart. I do like Alabama. I am Madly in love with my husband. He's currently serving out his last years in the United States Army. He's crazy enough to deal with Ammo all day so I will be crazy in love enough to marry him. My baby brought me to life like the song says. He didn't only bring me to life, He showed me how life could be lived. Amongst our 4 children, We have two cats Lightening and Tinker Bell and my Cockatiel Lily. No one else would claim her and she's been my feather baby for 4 years now. She knows mommy spoils her.

Since Moving to Alabama to spend the rest of our lives together. I have been introduced to Army Life. The Army Family. We are truly a family. Not everyone is the same and at some points there are "Family" members you just don't care for but when it boiled down to it, we have to support each other. Most of all Support our  Troops. I "met" my husband through my blogging and then we kept in touch using myspace, I've met many wonderful Army Wives since moving here. One of them reached out to me on Myspace. We've became pretty close.

My husband's job is what he enjoys mostly. Its the only thing he has ever known till finding true love and parent hood. He's a GOOD soldier but its not who he is. He wears his uniform proudly, He hangs his flag with honor, He fights with Strength. But there is so much more to my husband, I am Blessed. I am a new Army Wife but have aquired alot of resources and made some close friendships. I am a Proud Army Wife and Step Mom! That's not me thats just part of my soul. I love to connect with my "Internet Friends", I love to play around with my Paint Shop Pro, Show my patriotic side (not just because of his job), Scrapbooking, Crafting and Card Creating. I stay quite busy! I have an intense love for my Husband, My Family, For God, Writing, Poetry, Reading, Movies and Music.

    Bring Santa Home

    "Bring Him Home Santa"

Dear Santa, I need to change my Christmas list
There's one big thing I missed
You see my Daddy's working for away from here
And I know Santa, I asked for a Barbie doll
And a brand new soccer ball
But I'd trade it all, for just one gift this year...

Bring him home Santa, bring him home to mom and me
Let us wake up Christmas morning, and find him standing by our tree
You can pick him up on your way, he could ride there in your sleigh
Don't make him spend Christmas all alone
    Bring him home

And Santa, here's a picture that I drew
Of him in his dress blues
Mama says our country needs him over there
And you know Santa, this whole year I've been good
And I was hopin' that would
Do all you could to answer her prayer...

Bring him home Santa, bring him home to mom and me
Let us wake up Christmas morning, and find him standing by our tree
You can pick him up on your way, he could ride there in your sleigh
Don't make him spend Christmas all alone
    Bring him home

    Bring him home
    Bring him home
    Bring him home

    A Day and a half

I haven't been home. Monday I had to meet the reporter at 12 o'clock oh let me tell you about this reporter. Well perhaps maybe in a private blog. :) So then I went from the location over to ACS then to Walmart. I honestly don't know where the time went. Then I went to my friends who was with me and she cooked dinner. We decided to let our kids sleep over and once they were asleep we would tackle wrapping presents. We did that till late. She brought me home to sleep. Rick called. Rick got online so I didn't get much sleep LOL. Then she had to take her son to preschool. So she went and wanted to drop off Skylar. I said well lets try to wrap presents while he's at school. Well what about Skylar? I was hoping she would stay out of our hair about the time the baby took a nap. No such luck. Then we went and picked up her son. Then we came back. Then we had to meet someone to sale a toddler bed, then to the PX then back to her house for Dinner and Tila Tequila

Rick loves his confrontational part two

Rick knows I LOOOOVE Apple bee's. Not so much their dinner food but I am perfectly content with a blonde brownie for desert and a long ice tea to get me some HAPPY!. Well I went with some friends. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. (seating time was immediate) They brought the other couple's entree's out I started to notice that they were done before even reciving my steak. We had to ask for refills, straws, silverware, and the kids food (Mac and Cheese). So I went and asked for a manager and he covered our meal (6 people) minus the alcohol and even threw in our Blonde Brownie. Go me I saved the day. So I had a delicious steak dinner and blonde brownie for free :) Go me. Its rare for me but I left an awesome tip for the wait service (not the cooks). The manager told me 4 cooks called in sick so they had a kitchen staff consisting of all management (shouldn't they do a BETTER job?) lol. excuses excuses bs excuses. YOUR FIRED lol

One of my Favorite Quotes its from 10 things I hate about you

I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme. I hate it, I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it when you're not around, and the fact that you didn't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

    Can we...

Watch a movie just so I can fall asleep in your arms?

    I Need

Deal or No Deal like I need Carlos Mencia

I didn't call you at least it doesn't show up on Sprint as an out going call. So you must have just answered my text message and called me back as soon as you could. But I swear I don't remember what we talked about.

A Mommy's Letter to Santa Claus

A Mommy's Letter to Santa Claus!
    Body: Dear Santa,

I've been a good mom all year. I've fed, cleaned and cuddled my children on demand, visited the doctor's office more than my doctor,

sold sixty-two cases of candy bars to raise money to plant a shade tree on the school playground.

I was hoping you could spread my list out over several Christmases, since I had to write this letter with my son's red crayon, on the back of a receipt in the laundry room between cycles, and who knows when I'll find anymore free time in the next 18 years.

    Here are my Christmas wishes:

I'd like a pair of legs that don't ache (in any color, except purple, which I already have)

.....and arms that don't hurt or flap in the breeze; but are strong enough to pull my screaming child out of the candy aisle in the grocery store.

I'd also like a waist, since I lost mine somewhere in the seventh month of my last pregnancy.

    If you're hauling big ticket items this year I'd like fingerprint resistant windows and a radio that only plays adult music; a television that doesn't broadcast any programs containing talking animals;

and a refrigerator with a secret compartment behind the crisper where I can hide to talk on the phone.

On the practical side, I could use a talking doll that says, "Yes, Mommy" to boost my parental confidence, along with two kids who don't fight

and three pairs of jeans that will zip all the way up without the use of power tools.

I could also use a recording of Tibetan monks chanting "Don't eat in the living room" and "Take your hands off your brother,"

because my voice seems to be just out of my children's hearing range and can only be heard by the dog.

If it's too late to find any of these products, I'd settle for enough time to brush my teeth and comb my hair in the same morning ,

or the luxury of eating food warmer than room temperature without it being served in a Styrofoam container.

If you don't mind, I could also use a few Christmas miracles to brighten the holiday season.

Would it be too much trouble to declare ketchup a vegetable? It will clear my conscience immensely.

It would be helpful if you could coerce my children to help around the house without demanding payment as if they were the bosses of an organized crime family.

Well, Santa, the buzzer on the dryer is ringing and my son saw my feet under the laundry room door. I think he wants his crayon back.

Have a safe trip and remember to leave your wet boots by the door and come in and dry off so you don't catch cold.

Help yourself to cookies on the table but don't eat too many or leave crumbs on the carpet.

    Yours Always, a MOM...!

*Santa has asked that this gets passed on to all the mommies you know.

    My Busy Week

    Wow you ready for this?

Friday~ I did some running around. I went back out later that evening with a friend and she took me to get my hair cut and Skylar's hair cut. Although they didn't do what I asked them to do with my hair and two people told me they couldn't tell my hair had been cut. Skylar's bangs were too long as well. UGH it was just an annoying experience.

Saturday My husband called at 6 am and woke me up to tell me he wouldn't be able to meet online our usual time. I went back to sleep and between 6 am and 7 am I dreamed that I was with my "uncle" we went to the mall. I was driving a big conversion van and I put it in a ditch. So we went ahead and went inside instead of taking care of it. I was thinking oh no I have forgotten about the van since my uncle visited a month ago. I hadn't told the insurance company I hadn't told Rick. I also dreamed that my pregnant friend Jess Rose begged me to go with her to go get her hair done. She had been having some back pains and she was 37 weeks pregnant so I didn't want her going alone.
So in reality I knew she said she was leaving at 10 and I thought ok that was cool but when I called her at 8 to tell her I could go because Rick wasn't coming online. She was bugging me to go by 8:30 LOL

We went to the Hair Stylist but the salon manager kept telling us to come back so we went to Target, Then Movie Stop. Then Came back got her hair done got Skylar's hair redone. Then home to get her room mate and daughter. So we could go to Operation Christmas Bear. Its a Christmas party for families of deployed soldiers and the rest of the military I guess but we were special  guests. Santa was there handing out special bears, face painting, shirt painting, made special coupon books, Train, Makes ornaments for soldiers, Mrs Claus, Star Wars Characters, Ghetto Mickey and Minnie, Scooby, Blue from Blues Clues, and Ghetto frosty.. Ah I can't remember everything. So we did that till almost 4 o'clock. My pregnant friends room mate had to go to work and Jess needed me to stay with her because she had to do some errands like getting her daughter diapers, and Christmas dresses etc. Anyways so we both spent WAY to much money. In order for her to take her room mate to work I stayed with her at her house. We wrapped presents and watched the Holiday with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, and Jack Black... Then I stayed home with Mikayla while she went and picked up her room mate. Then she brought me home at 11:30. I was very exhausted. Oh and about the Van dream when I woke up I was thinking James would tell me if I were missing a vehicle right? I called my friend and said I have never owned any type of van right? HAHA!

Sunday. The Jess Rose, Her room mate Sarah, and Mikayla went to the circus. I stayed home due to money and stuff and I just wanted a break

Monday Jess rose had her OB appointment so I babysat Mikayla while she went alone. Her room mate was at work. She left me at about 10 am and called me at 2 pm to tell me she was going to have to have a c-section in an hour. I was so upset for her due to her husband being in Korea. He wasn't due home till Saturday. They did an emergency c-section due to low amniotic fluid. So she picked up Sarah at work and then came by to get her bag and kiss Mikayla by. I had my other friend Jess D. come and pick us up because I HAD to mail off Christmas packages. Jess D. Her two boys Collin 4½ and Landon 1, Mikayla 2, and mine Skylar 5. Went to Army Community Service to find out exactly how the Red Cross works getting her husband home then I had to call the Captain for more information. So between the Captain and the doctor they got daddy home later...Went to the shipping place to mail of Rick and Alex's christmas packages. We went to Burger King and got dinner for the kids. Landon has to be fed when HE wants or he screams bloody murder. Kid likes to eat! Then I decided to spend the night with Jess D so I don't have to have a constant eye on Mikayla. They didn't do Jess's c-section till 11 pm. Because she had fries. Molly Fay came into this world shortly after weighing 6 lbs 6 ounces.

Tuesday. We took Collin to preschool. I had playgroup and a waiting spouse meeting then we Went and got some flowers and balloons for the new momma. Took Mikayla to the hospital to see her mommy and sister. Then did some more running around and didn't again get home till dinner time.

Wednesday. I got a call that Jess needed Preemie clothes for Molly since she didn't fit into anything. She also needed a car seat cover and some towels. So I grabbed her everything she needed after looking in two places. I promised her I would take Mikayla to the Christmas Tree Lighting because the girls were promised to ride in Santa's sleigh. By the time we got done shopping it was time to go get changed and go to the Tree Lighting. She would only let me stay long enough for the girls to ride in the sleigh with real reindeer then go sit on Santa's lap. Then we took Mikayla and all Molly's things up to the hospital. Sarah quickly prompted me to leave. Daddy had just gotten there but I thought I had ok'd it with the new mommy to stay I guess not. Either way I was very upset about the whole day. I spent $70 on skylar's Christmas dress. I can't find the top half of it @@. I felt like I wasn't treated nicely for keeping Mikayla at least on Sarah's end. I was very upset and I felt my friends were upset with me

Thursday. Home sweet home after spending Monday and Tuesday night away from home and only getting to come home for 15 minutes a day. Thursday night I went and saw the Nutcracker.

Friday was Rick's old unit's Christmas party so the new parents and I went to that and then I went back to their house for some baby time. Then back home

Today My husband woke me up at Midnight this morning calling me. I woke up but not in time to answer the phone. I text him back to call me back. I tucked the phone in my bra so I would FEEL it and hear it. I waited till his usual time to be online and when he wasn't online I decided to call him. Lucky me I got through. I was like number one where the hell are you? he's like where the hell do you think I am. HAHA. VERRRY funny!. I was like number two. Why aren't you online? Because I am waiting in line to get online. Number three why the hell did you call me at midnight and not call me back? Did you get my text message? He's like yeah baby we talked. Really cause I don't remember a word! What did I say. He's like you called me. I was like no way. I so don't remember talking to you. My phone has no record of me calling him either LOL. FUNNY! This evening I baby sat with the room mate it was a very uncomfortable situation.

My vent for the week is one of my friends (the one with the two boys) was asking me why I was upset I lost Skylar's Christmas dress. She didn't understand the purpose or tradition in having a Christmas dress. She's like all that's important is that Skylar has a good time. I am sure she won't mind wearing what she has on etc etc. But when Asked Skylar said no she wanted to wear a dress. I also told her she would be upset if she lost something that cost her so much money too! and possibly because she had boys she didn't understand wanting to dress them up. She even asked her aunt if she had heard about a Christmas dress tradition. I was like silly that's why they always have an abundance of them at Easter and Christmas. Its nice to have nice pictures dressed nice. Go see Santa looking cute whatever. Then we had a tiff about how I was treated by this room mate. Ugh.

    What is Possible

What is possible goes beyond what is possible at the moment or what has been possible in the past. What is possible also includes everything that can be made possible through effort, discipline, innovation and determination.
When your options are limited, consider what you could do to expand those options. When you're not satisfied with any of the available possibilities, look for ways to make your own more favorable possibilities.

What is possible is not limited to what is convenient or what is comfortable or easy or immediate. Be willing to step out of your comfort zone, to expend some effort, to have some patience, and you'll dramatically increase the positive possibilities.

Possibilities include more than the ready-made solutions, pre-packaged for your convenience. There is more to living your possibilities than simply choosing among the ones handed to you.

The best possibilities are often those that require significant effort and commitment on your part. Be willing to make your own possibilities, and you'll be able to choose precisely the ones you desire.

    ~~Ralph Marston

    You will Achieve

You will achieve what you fully and confidently expect to achieve, but usually not on the first attempt. The only real failure is an unwillingness to persevere until that last attempt, the one that brings success.
Each time you fall short of the goal is actually a solid step in the direction of that goal. Each attempt makes you that much more prepared to take the next step. You cannot know in advance just how many attempts it will take. Yet you can be sure that each attempt will bring you one step closer to success.

The world is full of great achievements from inventors, musicians, authors, scientists, salespeople, artists, engineers and many others who fell short on the first attempt. How fortunate we are that they had the foresight to keep going until they got it right.

Stopping before you reach the goal does not make the discouragement go away. All it does is make the discouragement permanent. Instead, keep going, keep making the attempt, until you make that last, fulfilling attempt that brings the success you desire.

    ~~Ralph Marston
