My World

Rick and I have been married a little over six years. We may not be perfect but we are almost perfect together. He understands most of my faults and I try to understand him. Rick was a soldier in the US Army for 24 years. He is now retired and works for Northrop Grumman. I know deep down he was sent from God. My whole world changed 6 years ago and I didn't even know it.

Mackenzie is 13. He is my birth son. I think about him everyday and I will not give up hope that one day we can reunite and I can explain to him everything and show him how much I love him. I think about him every day and I tell his siblings stories about him. I can't wait for the day he can see Skylar again, and meet his other brothers he doesn't know he has!

Skylar is 11 years old. She is my Halloween baby. She is in the second grade. She is in Cheer, Gymnastics and whatever else she can talk daddy and mommy into. She loves American Girl, Music, Socializing, and her pets. She is a great sister to her brothers. She is our only princess. She was my preemie born at 35.5 weeks and such a blessing to have her.

William is a major part of my second life. I waited and waited for God to bless me with another soul to take care of and he trusted me enough to give me this precious gift. William isn't called a gift everyday... after all he is a precocious preschooler at 4 years old. He is incredibly smart. He is addicted to Disney Pixar Cars and Planes, and anything Nick Jr. He enjoys music, reading, and doing anything with the family. We like to call William and his sister Trauma and Drama LOL

Alex and James are my step sons. Alex is 27 and retiring out of the Army. He is ready to travel abroad and go to college in Tucson Arizona. The furthest he can get from his mom, dad, and I .... I guess the better. Ha!
Alex is a linguist as a hobby. He can speak about 5 languages fluently and he knows many more. I tell him that its a rare gift that he has. He loves Johnny Cash and M.A.S.H. He enjoys watching Dexter and Lie to Me too.



James is 26 years old. He lives at home and works full time at Burger King. He's been there for six years now. He is an artist and he has been studying hard to become a better artist... not gaming you might catch him watching Myth Busters, The History Channel, The Military Channel, or Mystery Science Theater 3000. James does suffer from Anxiety disorders and he has a condition called Aspergers which is on the Autism Spectrum.

Tinker Bell is Skylar's cat and she is 4 years old.

Mittens is my ball of anxiety we joke she was bred with a rabbit. She is 8 years old.

Peanut is our adopted cat. He is about 2 or 3 years old and the only male kitty in the house.

Cocoa is mama's baby. He is so sweet. She showed up at the bus stop when the kids started school. He was really thin so I decided to feed her. You know what they say about strays... once you feed them they never go away... well he is here to stay because I can't bare to part with him!! He's been with us about three years.

I was a foster mom for felines for awhile but clearly not good at it because I adopted two out of the three I fostered.

Syndey is 2 years old and full of  feistiness. She's been with us a year now but it wasn't until  in the Spring 2013 that we adopted her

Peeta was my Christmas present last year (2012) I wanted an all black kitty. Well Peeta wasn't all black when he came to live with us he had orange and gray colored markings now he's out grown his markings which I hear is rare. Sydney and Peeta are like litter mates they are usually together and grooming each other I guess because they are closer in age. Ultimately that is one of the reasons that sealed Sydney's adoption.
