Whiskers on Wednesday

My kitties are also little piggies.
I got baby Peeta I am pretty sure he was born at the Shelter then as soon as he was old enough to wean he was transferred to the vet clinic where I picked him up as soon as he was stable. He had a cold from the shelter. I know there are some pets that really do have eating disorders you know where they don't know where their next meal is coming from. But Peeta my fat black kitten has no excuse he's always crying and looking pitiful. I free feed my cats which means I have two bowls of dry food that are available to all 6 of the cats all day long. My husband splits two cans of cat food between three cats once in the morning and then treats. I walk into the kitchen and there is a cat begging like a dog for a treats. Especially if Cocoa is inside the cat can eat and sleep like no other. Peeta just constantly wants attention like any other male baby (haha). Well Cocoa is usually picky about treats and he is a very spoiled Siamese but we are trying a new one to help with their dental hygiene. They are called Greenies....
Well the old version of treats had Catnip flavor.. but these.. ohmigoodness Peeta ate some and immediately had a reaction. Being hyper and darting around looking into space. So funny!

Cats on Tuesday

Peanut was playing with William's race track. I love how they got hung up in his tail and he would play it off like he wasn't going to swipe one lol

Black Ops Cocoa

Every morning we walk my daughter to the bus stop. Since the bus stop is where we found Cocoa she goes with us most mornings. When she is inside she is relaxed and just a lovey dovey cat. Outside her ears are back and she is on alert. Rick had been laughing about her maneuvers for awhile. I said you know its like she is in Special Forces or something with the dark fur around her face lol. I said she is Black Ops Cocoa!

Cats on Tuesday

Photobucket
I know these pictures are horrible taken with my Iphone. The Iphone 3 camera sucks!
At least they used TP
Tinker Bell on the ledge... its a LONG way down.

Cocoa is finally learning that being in the house isn't all bad. Skylar was sitting on the couch and Cocoa laid down on the next cushion. So William was very careful to climb on the couch and not to climb ON Cocoa... He sat down beside her but Cocoa got up and jumped down. William groans Ohhhhmmm aww

Cats On Tuesday

We've had Tinker Bell for 4 years and she has never had a problem with her fur well apparently we took her to the Catisfaction Cat Clinic a few weeks ago and she has a problem with her undercoat getting knotted. She got her usual boosters and exam and let me tell you I love this clinic and its staff. Everyone is awesome. Next to go is Peanut because he tends to get out of the house more than the females.

Cats On Tuesday

Tinker Bell will be 4 years old April 17th
Lightening.

Mittens is 7 years old
Peanut is 1ish

My cats Mittens in particular is hard to photograph. Mittens has anxiety for whatever reason. She doesn't stop moving unless she is hiding. When she knows she is going to get petted or scratched she is all over me though. Purring up a storm. I can't get her to sit or lay down. She is scared of the orange "flash ready" light my camera gives off. Or is it a shutter light.. I don't know. As soon as I hit that shutter button she turns her head away from the light and the flash hasn't even gone off yet. So I guess I need to do some more work with her and know how to use my camera better so I can capture at least one good picture of her. The other two are laid back and don't care lol. Do you take pictures of your animals? What are some tips and tricks you know?

Cats On Tuesday

For some reason today my cats are being extra difficult to photograph.

Tinker Bell was playing Barbies in Skylar's room which is a disaster area. Tinker Bell is almost 4 years old (April 17th)

Then we have Mittens who is 6 she joined our family last year after Lightening died I was worried about Tinker Bell (I shouldn't have) She is the most skiddish and has the most anxiety of any cat I have ever seen. She's very much like a bunny who just runs away and hides LOL.

Peanut is the newest member of our family he is almost 2 years old and always getting into trouble. But he is loved and adores William. I think Rick just doesn't want to get close to another cat.

Lightening whom I already mentioned was Rick's cat for over a decade that passed away last year. She was really a momma's girl and stayed with me. I keep telling Rick that there will never be another Lightening so to love Peanut, Mittens, and Tink for who they are not for who they are not *another Lightening*

Anyways I will just show you some pictures I already have of the cats
Lightening baby
Mittens
Tinker Bell was so tiny when we got her. She is Skylar's little lamb and Skylar is her Mary.

Here is the first blog I wrote about Tinker Bell
