The last time I laughed so hard, I cried...

Was either when....
Well Skylar's been hilarious lately. I am not sure her stories here are appropriate. One day on the way to girl scouts she had said something and sometimes she struggles with speech but thankfully its rare. So when she said something to me I thought she was simply mispronouncing something or being silly. Come to find out I was pronouncing a word and she thought I was saying a curse word haha!

We were going past Jimmy's (a strip club) and Rick had commented that they were building a Super Walmart around Jimmy's. So Skylar asks what do they do at Jimmy's? I said they have lady dancers at Jimmy's but not ballet type dancing. I said its for adults only. She said is it like pole dancing? I LMAO... then I turned into the good serious mom and I said Skylar what is pole dancing? She said where you dance with a pole? I said yeah probably where did you hear about it. She said Destiny (her friend from the bus stop)

Then the last thing that it literally took awhile for me to calm down. I was getting out of my car.and I saw my Siamese cat outside and her name is Cocoa. I saw aww your like a warm cup of  Ca Ca (I meant Cocoa) you warm my heart. I had to beat down the door (it was locked) and hurry into the bathroom because I laughed so hard at myself. I don't know why but I couldn't stop cracking up. Then Skylar was asking what was so funny and every time I tried to tell her the tears welled up again and I started crying and laughing... and laughing. I know its probably not near as hilarious as I thought at the time :)

The Last Time I Laughed Really Hard Was...

Rick has been looking into getting William one of the hand held Leapster game systems. We don't expect him to be able to do much just the touch screen and maybe some other capabilities but they are $45 and up retail. So I found an older model on Craigslist.org for $10 working condition. We met the guy in a busy parking lot so everything was on the up and up. Now, William is enjoying his new Leapster. Well on the way to meet the guy Rick and I got in a discussion about one of our "adult" activities. Of course it was in code because there were ears in the back seat. I was teasing and I said WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM... Then I went into the store to get cash for the Leapster. I came back and Rick goes its ALL YOUR FAULT. Of course Skylar thinks its hilarious that I say WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM lmao and was giggling like she ate all of the giggle cookies this morning for breakfast! So we had a little bit of a giggle fest before we changed the subject to Rick's Yogi Bear impression

Is it true when kids are quiet there is something wrong?

have been putting off dental surgery for years. When my dentist (who I just LOVE) told me to do it. My husband was deployed and I only had to wait a few months for him to get home. Well when he got home I got pregnant so I couldn't have any dental work done while I was pregnant. So it got put off. Finally I had to get a new referral and the surgeon went into retirement *ugh*... Then we retired and didn't have dental insurance... Now we have insurance so I made some calls... Actually only one to find the right place that took my insurance. GREAT! They didn't even need a referral from my dentist they will do all the leg work. How often do you get that?

So I made my long awaited appointment. Called my husband and decided to investigate why my 15 month old was so quiet...

I was looking everywhere for him. I am 99.9% sure that anything he can get into is mostly baby proof although he finds ways.... Like climbing on the dining room table and opening baby gates.... But the baby gate has a bungee cord. The other baby gate is just around the TV so I would have saw that... No baby... Anywhere. I freaked for a minute. Hung up on Husband and there William in his bouncy chair from his infant swing next to the couch, He was sound asleep.... When toddlers are quiet they aren't always in trouble. Sometimes they just pull off their PJ's and find a place to zonk out.
